GetOnSet 2026 – We’re In!

08.10.2026 Studio Hamburg Synchron is participating for the first time in the fifth edition of the trainee programme run by MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg Media School, as one of ten partner companies. Our trainee Paul Trauth started with us on October 1st in the production management department and is being mentored by Anna-Marlena Tacke. Yesterday, all trainees and partner companies came together at HMS for a joint kick-off event. Under the engaging moderation of facilitator Michael Schieben, participants discussed shared goals and finalised the agreements for the coming months. We look forward to giving Paul insights into production management and the processes involved in dubbing production and to supporting him on his journey into the industry. We wish all trainees an exciting and educational experience and a great start!

A Special Award for Us!

25.03.2026 A wonderful evening yesterday at the 24th German Audio Description Award 2026 in Berlin: A total of 20 productions were nominated across six categories. The award in the “TV Feature Film” category went to the audio-described version of the atmospheric ARTE drama “Nostalgia” by director Mario Martone. We are proud to have helped make this success possible through outstanding teamwork. Together with Ralph Junglas from ARTE, Isabella Handke and Tammo Steinmetz, audio describers Doris Würfel and Stefanie Schruhl were delighted by the heartfelt tribute delivered by actress Inka Friedrich. This award recognises the high creative and technical quality of audio description – and our shared goal of making films accessible to as wide an audience as possible. A success that could only be achieved as a team.

What’s Going On.
